Fascinating location in Franciacorta and Lake Iseo, Paratico develops between the hill and the lake.

Its excellent location makes it an ideal place for lovers of water and outdoor activities, a convenient starting point for excursions and visits to discover the territory of Brescia and Bergamo, but also a peaceful destination for relaxing stays between nature, culture and eno-gastronomy.

From the Middle Ages it still preserves the remains of the ancient castle and Torre Lantieri, recently restored and open to the public for guided tours and events. On the ground floor is the QUADRISFERA, an innovative installation of which there are only three other examples in Italy (one is at CNR), expressly designed to involve the visitor in a totalizing experience of images, sounds and emotions!

Instead, the Oselanda is a neo-Gothic style, often home to contemporary art exhibitions, harmoniously placed in the area of ​​the Parco Comunale, which offers a splendid view of the lake. Very animated during the summer, in the park there is also a large play area for children, as well as an interesting permanent exhibition of stone sculptures, part of those that are also located in different parts of the country. Result of various editions of the event “Sculpting in the square”, these works combine the ancient craft of stonemason with artistic expression.

Part of the territory of Franciacorta and starting point of the homonymous “Franciacorta Wine Route”, in Paratico there are vineyards whose fruits form the must of this famous product, whose bubbles are now known all over the world!

A nice walk can be made in the new stretch of lakefront called the Parco delle Chiatte, having fun recognizing different species of flowers and plants among the many present, and then be amazed by the scenic fountain. Here also the ancient mooring piers of the barges, which came with wagons loaded with goods from various countries north of the lake, to be then transferred to the Paratico-Palazzolo s / O railway line, whose terminus station is just a few steps away …

The lakefront area offers  areas for swimming.
